go to durhamtown and try a few pairs on, get some affordable ones, and break them in yourself,

if you buy used boots, the whole boot will be broken into some one elses foot, and everyone walks a little different, so they will never really feel right for you, they might twist your foot slightly or cause you to walk differently. etc.

it might be alittle more money, but it will be a much better idea to get a new set.

Thor boots are about the best all around mx boot. I just bought a new pair at DP a month or so ago. They should have your size on the shelf, if not they have them in the back.
That would be my second pair of thors. in the last 6 or 7 yrs. So if you take care of them, they last a long long time. I think I paid about 120 bucks or so. can't beat'em for the price.
If you want to spend some money get the alpine stars, they feel good from the get go.
You can get the thors broke in within a good day of riding. As soon as you start to sweat they'll form to your foot. But these I just bought felt pretty good out of the box.

If you sign up for a day of riding I think you get a durhamtown bucks card good for $5 discount on something in the proshop or meal ticket.

either way your not gonna find a better deal than DP's proshop.

I'll agree with not getting a used pair. by the time you spend 50 or 60 bucks on a used pair, for a few more dollars you can have a brand new pair of thors and not have to worry about somebody else's foot rot.
