I would like to see the community Bonfire brought back, always had a good time sitting around that meeting the other riders and talking about the day ride.

Kitchen - better organized and do away with the a la carte go back to the old way!

Maybe have some more workers watching the trails. When your riding with the young riders and you have these guys blow by you before you have a chance to warn your kid that someone is behind them its a little nerve wrecking. I cant understand why they cant wait 5 min until the guys in front of them relize someone is there.

Grooming of the tracks or at the least drag the track with something to get some of the bigger rocks off.

Cabins - Ive been coming there a long time and relize who uses the cabins so Im not expecting much but the mattresses in the wolfs dens are nasty. It like sleeping on something with a hole in the middle. Have someone responsible for looking at and repairing / replacing items in the cabins.

i thought of two more things, id really like to see the redlands get some attention, last time i went, some of it was pretty scary.

second, what about a game room? nice big room with a couple pool tables, foosball, airhockey, or anything else we can pump a bunch of quarters into... (arcade games etc...) it might take a while for them to pay for themselves, but they will eventually, and it would be good to have something to do when the trails close at 5 and we go to bed at 11.

Thank You all for your suggestions. Some of the things mentioned have been tried in the past with no luck. However, we are putting lights on the BMX track and adding a playground for the children. We are also going to update the game room. We are going to exhaust all of our options to make everyone's stay at Durhamtown the best!!

Thank You,
Lauren

Lights on the bmx course is a good idea, but let make a suggestion...I know i'm older than I used to be,and am very partial to my rest...With that being said, when quiet hour has come, turn off the lights and close the course...We stayed in the dog house a few trips back, and the night was filled with a constant wham bam from the bikes and skateboards on the plywood ramps...Became very annoying after midnight or so when we were ready to turn in...It was loud, even inside the cabin...If it wasn't so close,it wouldn't be a problem, but considering how close the course is to some of the cabins,it should be an act of courtesy if nothing else to honor the quiet hour....

How about some scheduled Trail rides set up periodically for new riders to meet other riders or for those that would like to ride but can't seem to find anyone to ride with.
(Kind of like club rides)

Hello Lauren.

You guys should have RC car races on the weekend, as we always run into several people that bring their RC vehicles to DP. And of course we have some to!

Oh yea! We got the snow I asked you to send over here is South Carolina.
Try about 8 inches to be exact.

I would like to see the guys at the finish lines that are waving the plags to show that they care or are interested in whats going on. They dont keep up with the laps. They act like clowns. This is a race where we pay good money to come up here to race, and it means a lot to us and the kids. Get your guys to pay attention!
